University of Brighton Eastbourne

Eastbourne is one of the most picturesque resorts on the English south coast. Incredibly popular in Victorian times it has retained this grandeur and now has arguably the most elegant seafront in the UK. The Victorian Pier is a focus of this seafront and has been magnificently restored to its former glory.
The beach is widely recognised as one of the best in the UK and holds a European blue flag so that bathers can feel confident when taking to the water.
The original 1930’s bandstand is another popular feature and helps create a wonderful art deco feel to the town.
Eastbourne is perfectly placed for excursions along the south coast to Brighton, up to London, or into 1066 country to visit some of the great historical sites.

The summer school takes place on the campus of the University of Brighton at Eastbourne. The university offers excellent accommodation at the Welkin student accommodation complex. This superb modern construction offers high quality en-suite rooms, tennis courts and a Students Union.
