The

Home to the British Royal Navy for more than 500 years,
Portsmouth's mix of historic ships, castles, forts and

museum. Charles Dickens was born in Portsmouth and is
now celebrated at the Charles Dickens' Birthplace

Many new leisure and tourist attractions are being
created, including six kilometres of promenades around
the harbour and the Gunwharf Quays development, which
incorporates the Spinnaker Tower, with facilities for
shopping, leisure, restaurants and bars. Visitors can
enjoy unparalleled access to the waterfront and waterbus
services will link both sides of the harbour.
The EAC Language Centre in Portsmouth takes place on the
beautiful south coast of England overlooking the Solent
and the Isle of Wight and
surrounded by beautiful Hampshire countryside; all just
a short journey from London and the main airports.
Occupying University of Portsmouth residences and
classrooms in Southsea, our centre benefits from a prime
location in the middle of the city and offers easy
access to a host of local attractions. The city centre
and main shopping district is only a 5-minute walk, and
on foot you can easily reach the beach. |
